Wedding Photographer FAQ
Clear answers about booking, the wedding day, delivery and destination weddings. If your question isn’t here, write to me and I will reply personally.
Availability and booking
Are you available on our wedding date?
Write to me through the contact form or by email and I will reply personally, usually within 24 hours. High season dates are usually booked well in advance, so the sooner the better.
How far in advance should we book?
Ideally 12 to 18 months before, especially for weddings between May and October. I photograph only one wedding per day.
How do we secure our date?
We sign a digital contract and you pay a 30% deposit.
Can we pay in instalments?
Yes: 30% when you book and the remaining 70% one month before the wedding.
Do you offer video?
I focus on photography, and I recommend trusted videographers whose style fits my work.
Experience and style
How many weddings have you photographed?
More than 400, in Barcelona, Sitges, the Costa Brava and destinations such as Italy, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Mallorca and New York.
How would you describe your style?
Honest, natural storytelling with a refined editorial aesthetic. Most of the day I document what happens; for the portraits we find a quiet moment together, so they feel relaxed and beautifully composed.
Have you worked at our venue before?
I have photographed weddings at many of the best venues in Barcelona, Sitges and the Costa Brava. If I haven’t worked at yours, I love discovering new places.
Do you offer couple or pre-wedding sessions?
Yes. A couple session is a great way to feel comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding.
The wedding day
How long do you cover the wedding day?
Usually from the preparations until an hour after the party starts, when the story is complete.
Do you work alone or with a second photographer?
I work alone at most weddings; a second photographer can be added for bigger celebrations.
What happens if the schedule is delayed?
I am flexible. The important thing is that you enjoy the day; I adapt to every situation.
Do you take family and group photos?
Yes. I help you prepare a short list so they flow quickly and without interruptions.
Do you work with wedding planners?
Yes, most of my weddings are planned by wedding planners, and I am used to working as part of their team.
Editing and delivery
When will we receive the photos?
A first preview of 40–50 photographs within a week, and your full gallery within 12 weeks.
How many photos do you deliver?
Between 700 and 800 edited images for a full wedding, each in colour and black & white.
In what format?
High-resolution JPEG files in a private online gallery, ready to download and share.
How do you edit the photographs?
One by one, with natural editing that respects the light and colours of the day. Timeless, with a subtle editorial touch.
Do you offer albums and prints?
Yes, handmade albums and high-quality prints.
Do you offer film photography?
Yes, as an optional extra to the digital coverage, for couples who would like a few rolls in their story.
Travel and destination weddings
Do you photograph weddings outside Barcelona?
Yes, all over Catalonia, including the Costa Brava, Sitges and Tarragona, and destination weddings across Spain and Europe.
Are there travel costs?
Travel within 100 km of Barcelona is included. Beyond that, I add travel and accommodation.
Do you photograph destination weddings outside Spain?
Yes. I have photographed weddings in Italy, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Mallorca and New York, and I send a personalised proposal.
