Two kinds of destination wedding

You travel, or we both do

  1. You travel, I’m local

    Catalonia

You live abroad and get married in Barcelona, Sitges, the Costa Brava or the Empordà. I am based here: collections from €3,150, travel included up to 100 km.

  2. We both travel

    Spain & Europe

Mallorca, Andalusia, Italy, France or New York. I travel to you, with a personalised proposal that includes travel.

  3. In English

    From the first call

Calls, planning and the day itself in English, Spanish or Catalan.

  4. With your planner

    As a team

Most destination weddings are planned by a wedding planner, and I am used to working as part of their team.

Candid & refined

A destination wedding photographer based in Barcelona

I’m Juanjo Vega, a wedding photographer based in Barcelona. Most of my couples come from abroad, from the United Kingdom, the United States, Ireland or the Netherlands, to celebrate on the Mediterranean, and I know the venues, the light and the timings here very well.

I’ve also photographed weddings in Mediterranean farmhouses, estates surrounded by vineyards and ceremonies in places as different as New York, Paris, Amsterdam, Switzerland and the Mediterranean islands. Each place brings something of its own; what makes a wedding memorable is always the energy of the people living it.

Wherever it happens, the approach is the same: honest, close, and with an editorial eye for the light.

    The wedding day

From getting ready to the first hour on the dance floor.

  3. Sunday

    The day after

A brunch or a pool party with the people who stayed.

  4. Optional

    Couple session

Before the wedding, or the day after if you live abroad.

We live abroad and are getting married in Barcelona. Is that a destination wedding?

For you, yes, and for me it is home: I am based in Barcelona and photograph weddings all over Catalonia, with travel included up to 100 km.

Do you photograph weddings in the rest of Spain and abroad?

Yes. I have photographed weddings in Mallorca, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland and New York. For those, I send a personalised proposal that includes travel.

Do you speak English?

Yes. I work in English, Spanish and Catalan every week, and most of my couples are English-speaking.

Can you cover the whole weekend?

Yes: the welcome party, the wedding and a brunch or pool party the day after.
