How to read the journal

What you will find in each story

Every post is a selection of highlights from a real wedding: 50 to 60 photographs, mixed the way I like to show a day, the seen and the unseen side by side, in colour and black & white. A short text tells how the day was and where it happened.

Each story also includes a short venue guide, written from a photographer’s point of view: where the light is best at each hour, the corners I like for portraits, and practical notes for couples planning from abroad. And at the end, the team that made the day possible, from the wedding planner to the florist.

If your venue isn’t here, it doesn’t matter. After more than 400 weddings since 2010, a new place is always a pleasure: I study the light and the timings beforehand, and arrive ready on the day.
